Every once in a while in dog trainings I get some feedback!
Todays lesson:
1) Stay Positive
2) Be Focused
3) Make Results
Today we got from Czech Republic pictures of our white swiss shepherd puppy Born to Win White Dogfire :)
Today, over long period of time, we had again snowless day and fields were so inviting that we went to a tracking with our Almighty Junior.
I must admit Ive got a marvellous dog! Outside 14-28 m/sec wind and she did not miss an object, which were all, by the way, hidden.
The conditions were really difficult for her but she just kept going no matter what. Did not hesitate a second and full of motivation.
A true BTWW I can really be proud of and happy with
2014 last protection training on 30th of December result was a Snow Man :D
Let us hope he will take care of our dogs trainings next year better than we could do ourselves this year :D
.
Cowboy got today a Christmas Gift from our friends!
A collar with golden shepherds on it :)
BTWW Zantos owner, that lives in Austria, shared their obedience training video.
Enjoy :)
Found an interesting video which tells about how wolves transformed Yellowstone ecosystem and geography.
The reason why we need to have wolves in the forest is familiar to our region as Estonia has wolves lining in forests and as during Sovjet timeperiod when money was not most important things in the life we were taught how the ecosystem should work.
But we have never seen such a dramatic change as the Yellowstone National Park which story have been told in this video.
29.08.14-31.08.14 was held our annual training event BTWW Training Camp 2014.
This time the trainer was from Belgium Vic Wilms.
In the training camp were covered all three areas - tracking, obedience and protection.
Once in a while I get updates from our puppy owners about their life and how it goes. So here I post some pics of Born to Win White Zantos that lives in Austria.
Born to Win White Vulcan has been taken on a ride on the water.
Ieven dont know how they call it as it is neither surfing nor swimming or water rescue. But since I did not have more ideas I just tagged it under water exercises.
02.08-03.08.14 we were participating in Estonian White Swiss Shepherd Club Summer Camp 2014. Some pics from this event...
Today we got some nice photos from Poland from Born to Win White Vision of their training club Hitt Dog Summer Camp in protection trainings.
This BTWW C litter, White Swiss Shepherd Puppies, Cool Crazy Warriors as I call them, are really really cool pups. Took some pics of the pups which I also uploaded to the litter page but since they are so cool and some of pics are also really good looking I could not help but decided to make here also a post.
They are so fun to spend time with. In the morning when I go out they are running around me looking with their always smiling ever optimistic faces up to me like asking: Hello, what we're gonna do Today?! What an excellent start of the Day!
As usually, had a nice evening swim with my dogs. This time with Almighty Junior. Took also some small poor quality videos of Junior with huge stick which I could not throw, unfortunately I am just a weak woman :D And then another video piece of her running after a smaller stick which I had enough power to throw.
Videos are extremely poor quality, taken with my handphone in late evening light after 22:00.
Just one of our evenings, enjoying life after a training session :)
On a nice sunny day I decided to make a travel around in Estonia in order to clear some outstanding issues and meanwhile also take time to train my dogs.
As usually I loaded my car full of dogs and this time had three pups with me.
Somewhere on the corner of Estonia I found a nice field.
Today I managed to take a picture of our four generations :)
From left to right:
Almighty Senior - the Granny
General - son of Almighty Senior and Almighty Juniors father and Spartacus grandfather
Almighty Junior - daughter of General and grand daughter of Almighty Senior and mother of Spartacus
Spartacus - son of Almighty Junior, grandson of General and great grandson of Almighty Senior
Took some videos today of our 8 weeks old Malinois puppy Risk & 6 weeks old White Shepherd BTWW A litter pups playing :)
This weekend we participated in tracking seminar by Raine Holm (from Finland).
Got extremely positive feedback of both, Almighty Juniors training level and of a "not earlier seen such a white shepherd".
We were told that it is possible to get 100 points with this dog. And there must be also dog material behind as with only training you dont get dog do work as was presented.
So we feel to be proud of both, training done and breeding level achieved.
Also got some comments about good dog handling and some advice what to do better.
Usually the life is quite tough when you are after high results on a higher level and getting such response from such level trainer and handler we really felt great.
On 5th of April when I was visiting the Netherlands to pick up my new hope for the future Belgian Shepherd Dog Malinois Risk I had also chance to look at local club 50 years anniversary KNPV games protection part.
Well, I have earlier heard to be said that IPO is the most boring protection sport of all. And I have never understood what is the meaning of this saying. But now it seems that I just had never seen the World so I just had no idea.
I had earlier looked from the videos but I did not understood much. When I was there and saw it alive it was completely different.
31.03.14 BTWW Zorro in his 3rd protection training at age 5 months
Just another protection training on 24.03.14 with White Swiss Shepherds

BTWW Zorro 5 months old in his second protection training at age 5 months old. He is changing teeth so in the end I ask to change the tug as it is too much at the moment for this puppy.
Part 2
BTWW Ultrafire in protection training at 11 months age
BTWW Almighty Junior in protection training after puppies. Phone battery died so the video is cut from the very beginning barking actually. But anyway, the way you can hear her teeth making noise is really funny. :)

There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors. Just this side of Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass.
When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place. There is always food and water and warm spring weather. The old and the frail animals are young again. Those who are maimed are made whole again. They all play with each other.
Before humans die they write their last will and testament. They give their home and all they have to those they leave behind. If with my paws I could do the same, this what I’d ask...
To a poor and lonely stray, I give my happy home,
my bowl and cozy bed, soft pillow and all my toys,
the lap, which I loved so much,
the tender, loving touch,
the hand that stroked my fur and sweet voice which called my name.
I will to the sad, scared shelter pet,
the place I had in my human’s loving heart of which there seemed no bounds.
So, when I die, please do not say, “I will never have a pet again,
for the loss and pain are more than I stand.”
Instead, go find an unloved pet– one whose life has held no joy or hope,
and give MY place to HIM.
This is the only thing that I can give.
The love I left behind.
This is my inheritance!
My Will and My Last Testament.

Grown-ups are like that... When you tell them that you have made a new friend, they never ask you any questions about essential matters. They never say to you, "What does his voice sound like? What games does he love best? Does he collect butterflies?" Instead, they demand: "How old is he? How many brothers has he? How much does he weigh? How much money does his father make?"
Only from these figures do they think they have learned anything about him.
If you were to say to the grown-ups: "I saw a beautiful house made of rosy brick, with geraniums in the windows and doves on the roof," they would not be able to get any idea of that house at all.
You would have to say to them: "I saw a house that cost $ 20,000." Then they would exclaim: "Oh, what a pretty house that is!"
He is your friend, partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.
If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went.
If you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then giving Fido only two of them.

My goal in life is to be as good of a person my dog already thinks I am.
From time to time, people tell me, "lighten up, it's just a dog," or, "that's a lot of money for just a dog." They don't understand the distance traveled, the time spent, or the costs involved for "just a dog."
Some of my proudest moments have come about with "just a dog." Many hours have passed and my only company was "just a dog," but I did not once feel slighted. Some of my saddest moments have been brought about by "just a dog," and in those days of darkness, the gentle touch of "just a dog" gave me comfort and reason to overcome the day.
When I am old...
I will wear soft gray sweatshirts and a bandana over my silver hair.
I will spend my social security checks on wine and my dogs.
I will sit in my house on my well-worn chair and listen to my dogs breathing.
I will sneak out in the middle of a warm summer night and take my dogs for a run, if my old bones will allow...
When people come to call, I will smile and nod as I show them my dogs and talk of them and about them.
The ones so beloved of the past and the ones so beloved of today....
The best friend a man has in the world may turn against him and become his enemy. His son or daughter that he has reared with loving care may prove ungrateful. Those who are nearest and dearest to us, those whom we trust with our happiness and our good name may become traitors to their faith. The money that a man has, he may lose. It flies away from him, perhaps when he needs it most. A man's reputation may be sacrificed in a moment of ill-considered action. The people who are prone to fall on their knees to do us honor when success is with us, may be the first to throw the stone of malice when failure settles its cloud upon our heads.
Someone once suggested to me that the life we share with a dog is not about dogs or dog sports at all. That the interaction between us is simply a vessel to teach us the lessons we are intended to learn as we travel through life. The lessons are always there, but not always noticed. We may be so wrapped up in “training” the dog that we fail to grasp what the dog is trying to share with us. However, if we don’t take the time to see the lesson, you can be certain it will come around to us again.
